Its Wednesday David

I love Wednesdays. Mostly because of the movie Sabrina with Harison Ford, Julia Ormond & Greg Kinnear. If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. If not, I HIGHLY recommend that you go purchase this movie. Renting it just won't be enough, you'll want to watch it over and over!

I just finished reading the second book in the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins and WOW! Don't worry, I won't spoil it for the rest of you, but if you haven't already bought or borrowed this book do it now! Stephanie Meyer herself recomended this author and I have not been disapointed. Well, at least not with the storyline. I have however been disapointed at the volume of each book. They're just a little... thin. I like my books nice a meaty (450+ pages) and her's are just shy of that mark (350ish...). While she does a wonderful job of painting the picture for you and building up the characters I'm always left wanting more. Which is a good thing for her, since she's doing a series, but a pain in the butt for me, because I now have to wait another year for the next book to come out. Grrrrrr!!!

I've now moved on to the new Dan Brown book The Lost Symbol. I'm only 100pgs into it, but its shaping up to be another amazing book of action packed symbolism related drama that we've all come to know and appreciate from Dan Brown. Robert Langdon is at it again, but I must say that if I have to watch Tom Hanks with a horrible hair piece playing this role one more time, I just might lose it. I've thought it was bad casting from the start, and now's their chance to redeem themselves. Come on Hollywood, I know you can do it!
The first time I picked up a Dan Brown book and read the description of Robert Langdon the actor Aaron Echart immediately came to mind. (The White Knight, in the new Batman movie, the love interest of Jennifer Aniston is Love Happens...) He is the epitome of everything Robert Langdon is and I can guarantee he would blow Tom Hank's performance out of the water. (Not the mention his horrible hair!, UGGHH!!)

Also,
I've FINALLY started up a portfolio blog. Check it out... www.westoverinteriordesign.blogspot.com

Well, that's about all I have to say on the matter. So, HAPPY WEDNESDAY!
