Christmas 2010

We survived our first Christmas with master Quinton! He absolutely loved it! He was going nuts, crawling all over the floor, 'inspecting' all the presents. We celebrated Christmas as a family on Christmas Eve with gift exchanges, stockings, and of course, setting up the cool electronics we just got. :)
Quinn's favorite part was pulling the wrapping paper out of the trash bag, and pounding on the boxes. I love this age!

The Q man got his first set of 'big boy' jammies and he rocked them pretty hard.

'It's so much easier to get my walk on in these jammies!' -Says the Q man

The One and Only

Eric and I celebrated our one and only Christmas alone together this year. We woke up on Christmas morning and opened presents at our place before heading over to the in-laws for the festivities. It was a great opportunity to spend some quality time together. Here are some photos from our morning. (I love Christmas morning its the only time of year that its okay to look like crap in photos.)

The tree on Christmas morning.

Eric's new slippers. Ahhhh, cozy feet.

Our new camcorder. Thanks Santa!

Funny happening of the day. Santa brought us a tripod and Eric got me a tripod. I think next year Santa and Eric will have to communicate better. ;)

Our new headlamp (thanks Mom and Dad Warnick). Now I can do projects without needing an extra hand to hold the light.

A sampling of the many baby clothes the bean received. Thank you everyone for all the cute outfits, we're going to have one stylin' baby!

Eric got me a new Maternity coat, and just in time. The belly was just about to break out of my non maternity pea coat.

But before all this....

On Christmas eve I spent the better part of the day with my sister Christy making amazing cinnamon rolls. Eric and I can never agree on what Christmas breakfast should consist of... he insists on doughnuts and I say homemade cinnamon rolls are the way to go. This year we happily compromised, he got his doughnuts and I got my cinnamon rolls when Christy brought these babies over to the in-laws in the morning.

And because...

... I am now in full nesting mode we had the tree stripped, ornaments and Christmas decor put away and house cleaned all before lunch time. At which point we went and saw Sherlock Holmes (good movie).

Post Christmas living room.

With the addition of some new photos and frames. :)

Step 4

We've finally made it to step 4 of the Christmas tree decorating.

The angel is on loan, since we couldn't find a tree topper that we liked.

Xmas Tree 2009

We tend to do things in steps. Each step typically takes a day. Not necessarily out of laziness but simply because we'd rather cuddle on the sofa than decorate the house/tree/yard/etc...

Step one: Buy Xmas ornaments
Step two: Buy Xmas Tree
Step three: Decorate Tree
Step four: Buy more ornaments

We got all the way to step three and then decided that step four was necessary. That's this weekends project. But for now, here are photos of the tree as it is.
