Izzy

This is our newest edition, Izzy. She is now 11 weeks old and super active. Her favorite thing to do right now is chew on everything, including my hand at 5 in the morning! ;)
Eric and I went out grocery shopping 2 weekends ago and noticed that the PetCo down the street was having a kitten adoption day, so we stopped by the "check it out". That was mistake number one. Mistake number two was not leaving when we had the chance. Those cute little eyes just suck you right in!
Needless to say we brought one of the kittens home with us that day. Her foster dad had originally named her Denise, after his obnoxious neighbor, because she loves to squeak and climb all over you. We weren't a fan of the name, so we went on the hunt for a new one.
The next night I went to my friend Christina's Bachellorette party. One of her friend's son's was there and he was just the cutest little thing! I'd been watching him wondering what his name was when his mom yellow out to him "Tristan, come on over here". I imediatly thought of the movie Tristan and Isold and Izzy popped into my head for our new kitty's name. :)
