My amazing sister put this up on her blog last night and I loved it so much that I stole it and put on my blog!!! :)
Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!
Tomorrow is my baby sister's Golden Birthday. She's turning 25 years old. For 25 years we've been: friends, giggle-pals, mutual annoyances, roommates, buddies, near-death driving incident survival companions, travelers, speakers of our own special language. Sisters.Betcha didn't know these things about Kelly:
-She used to fall out of size zero jeans. We had to feed her milkshakes crammed with candy at night to get calories into her.
-As an infant she used to LOVE to jump in her jumper (it hung from the ceiling). Her nickname for a long time was Jumper.
-The family had to teach her how to "toughen up" - she was a pushover! (Definitely not a problem anymore)
-She hates to play with Barbies because I wouldn't let her play when we were little (not that we play anymore - but I think she still vehemently hates them to this day)
-She was a PRISS growing up.
-Until she was three or four, she spoke with a New York accent - it mystified everyone because we lived in California. (We have an example on video of her saying "Soopewman is quark kehnt!" Which reminds me:
-She LOVED Superman until she was three or four. She had a superman t-shirt to sleep in.
-As an early teen she LOVED Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Jonathan Brandis. She had their posters on the walls and would kiss them each goodnight before going to sleep every night.
-She really, really hated me as a baby. She could laugh and smile and coo for everyone else who picked her up, but would wail when I came around.
-I used to call her the Blowfish. Doesn't make much sense to look at her - but she has this uncanny ability to "blowfish" her way into the middle of ANY situation. From spots on the couch to conversations to activities. It's amazing.
-She has an amazing design sense.
-She's drop-dead gorgeous.
-Not many people know it, but she has a beautiful singing voice.
-She likes to touch things and smell things.
-She can do anything she puts her mind to.
-She has the best sense of humor.
I love you, baby girl.
Embarrassing photo time (at least the ones I could dig up):
Much to my chagrin, Mom liked to sew. Our Cabbage Patch Dolls even had dresses to match these...
Yup. That's right. Tap dancing cats.

Christmas... 2003?
Hehe. 2004.
Valentine's day, 2005 - I think the story goes like this: Kelly gets up at church after Sacrament to make an announcement. "Valentine's day is coming up, and I've decided to jump out of a plane. If anyone wants to come with, let me know."
Lol.
April, 2005. Kels joined me on a cruise. We stopped in London.
Same cruise. Whirlwind tour of Paris.
